I think it's amazing that something so awful could actually put you in touch with some of the most amazing people. Breast cancer sucks, but the friends we make along the way are irreplaceable.
This past week, the motorcycle community lost a great one, Nicky Hayden. Some of you may know from other blogs that I am a bit of a motorcycle junky! My grandfather had one and he passed away when I was in first grade. I had been fascinated but always afraid of them since. (There's that … Continue reading Nicky Hayden, Motorcycle Racings’ Nicest Guy!
In the recent past with the advent of so many bloggers and the internet, I have seen more and more of what I shouldn't wear posts by fashion bloggers and I just want to laugh. I've done my research and most of them are younger and probably embarrassed by their mom's and what they wore. … Continue reading 40 Somethings Have a Dress Code!! What?!
Sorry, I haven't been around. I caught some kind of bug and yesterday was the first time I even picked up my computer in almost 2 weeks. It's been a long 2 weeks. First, I had a cold or flu and then after that was almost done I started to have stomach issues. So it's … Continue reading Wow, it’s been almost 2 weeks!

Thanks to Facebook, I was just reminded that 5 years ago today, I chose not to do chemo. As I look back, this is probably the biggest mistake I made in my cancer journey. At the time, my hematology oncologist was not much help. We had found out that on the curve they do, I … Continue reading 5 Years Ago Today I Chose Not to do Chemo
I had such a great weekend this weekend, but I'm still a little emotional. My husband and I did a Prohibition Tour in Philly and also went to see Brit Floyd (Pink Floyd cover band, probably the best out there). It was so fun, we had funky cocktails from the time of Prohibition, great eats and visited some really cool restaurant/bars...
